If you are currently an Avon Representative wanting to build your team and you receive ALMA leads, or are delegated leads from your Upline, you should watch this video by Avon Senior Executive Milagros Garcia “Calling my ALMA Leads”. The video is a kind of long but she said several things during the 20 minute video that really made me think and I wanted to mention a few. She was making calls to her ALMA leads. If you don't know, ALMA is a referral system used by Avon that captures information from people that want to learn more about Avon. The leads are then sent to current Avon representatives to contact and explain the Avon opportunity and attempt to enroll new representatives.
During the video Milagros recorded several of her calls and
each time she spoke to someone, or even left a message she stated that she was
their "Team Leader". Now officially she is
not their team leader until they join Avon, but this gives the person advance
notice that she is there to help them learn the business. She is
their “leader”. Who doesn’t want a
leader when they are starting something new?
Many times people are looking for an online job and they see
Avon; they enter their information and then they realize that they have to
pay $25 for the business tools; and then change their mind. It may be because they don’t have the money currently or they really just aren’t that interested.
So many of the leads we receive aren’t the best leads, but we
call each one because you just never know when the opportunity will work be the right fit.
So one of Milagros' calls is to a lady and Milagros realizes during the call that the lead isn’t really interested in Avon.
After the call she states to the camera that the lady was looking for a
JOB. Not a business. She explained that there really is a
difference. Before she worked her Avon
business full time she did it part time while still working her JOB because it
takes time to build a business and she and her family had bills to pay. But I thought it was somewhat profound when she
said there is no need to convince someone to join Avon if they aren’t really interested. Because if someone isn’t excited about the
opportunity – how much effort will they really put into it? Well said!
She also shared with each lead that they will earn $40 on
every $100 in sales and they can earn an additional $200 every two weeks and can
create a six figure income with our new compensation plan. You can tell from the video that Milagros really enjoys her
Avon business. She is a pleasure to
